Once considered to be at the quality end of the market, so quite a prestigious motor then. Known to frighten small boys senseless as it approached, it was the size of a small aircraft hangar and several stories high. Phenominally amusing to drive, weighed about 3 tons and you could if you tried hard enough end in the Humber from a braking point somewhere in West Yorkshire, no fear of ever soaring like a Hawk. Is that windscreen on back to front? Total tripe. Rootes made it.....who?!?
